Research question: How do unbalanced forces affect motion?

Controls: Mass, Surface

Procedure: Attach a string to the cart that goes over the edge of the table using a pulley. We change the net force by removing or adding mass to/from the cart and adding or removing mass to/from the pulley. Use a Motion sensor to calculate the acceleration.

Procedure: Attach a string to the cart that goes over the edge of the table uing a pulley. Put a constant mass on the end of the pulley. Add or remove mass from the cart and measure how that affects motion.
